The St. Paul project included extensive excavation, the addition of rail and truck receiving pits, rail and truck loadouts, as well as a barge loadout. The proximity of the deep excavation to an existing building required the installation of sheet piling. One of the details that’s exclusive is we pre-designed and pre-fabricated the rail and truck pits in our own fabrication shop. Until this project, our receiving pits were always field fabricated.
