The Readfield project consisted of two new truck receiving pits with a 20,000 BPH capacity each plus dedicated receiving legs, two new wet bins with a capacity of 104,000 bushels each, two new 4,700 BPH tower dryers, new fill and reclaim systems for their three existing bins, and a transfer catwalk and belt conveyor to connect the other side of the facility. This project was unique because there were basically two separate new receiving, drying, and storage systems that also had to be able to intermingle with the existing equipment to give the facility the ultimate flexibility.
