The Monroe project included the addition of a new receiving pit at the capacity of 15,000 BPH, two new hopper bottom wet bins with a capacity of 31,000 bushels each, one new 4,700 BPH tower dryer, and one 90' diameter dry storage bin with a capacity of 515,000 bushels to be filled at 25,000 BPH. Unlike many other projects, Buresh did not have to tie the existing side of the facility into the new side except for a catwalk specifically for personnel. One unique thing on this project was the manlift beside the leg tower. The customer appreciates the easy access to the top of the tower without the use of ladder or stairs.
